Torcisão began its activities in the year of 1968 in the development of materials for the automotive industry that required strict technical and quality control.

Torcisão Trefilados operates in the industrialization, commercialization and provision of services in the Steel Drawing sector and in the distribution of steel products in general, always seeking to meet or exceed the requirements demanded by customers, providing materials with differentiated quality, responsibility and efficiency. Torcisão Trefilados works with other products besides Grounding Rods, Steel for civil construction, such as: Rolled Steel in São Paulo, Carbon Steel, Rectified Steel 1045, Drawn Steel, Angle Bar Steel.

In 2006, with the expansion of the civil construction market in Brazil, the company detected a market opportunity and, taking advantage of its technical experience, expanded its activities, creating a new opportunity for the segment. Torcisão Industrial initially specialized in the manufacture of accessories for shoring, formwork and scaffolding.

We operate with a modern management model, with excellent service, rigorous quality control, qualified professionals, we invest in equipment modernization and professional training to develop and manufacture the best products for civil construction and infrastructure works.

In 2011, Exploring the market even further, we launched the prestressing unit, a promising market with a wide range of opportunities, serving clients in large projects in Brazil.

Torcisão used all its technical knowledge to develop a complete line of Tie Rods and Accessories capable of withstanding traction forces and transmitting them to the ground through the interaction of the bulb, formed by injection of cement grout under pressure (soils) or adhesive resin (rocks) fixed or anchored in the stable region of the massif.

In 2013, Torcisão begins to manufacture threaded bars, a solution used to support rock, allowing the advancement of galleries in underground excavations.

In 2014, Torcisão specializes in the distribution of grounding rods. We provide high-quality service for various types of infrastructure and civil construction projects that require grounding rods.

In 2015, Electricity is one of the forms of energy that man most depends on and uses today, thanks to its ease of transportation through transmission lines due to its low coefficient of energy loss during transmission and conversions. In regions further away from central hydroelectric plants, energy produced in thermoelectric plants and electricity generated from renewable sources such as wind and solar energy are used.

Analyzing this scenario, Torcisão Industrial, known for being a reference in Products and Services for the civil construction market in Shoring, Anchoring, Prestressing and Mining and Tunnels, started to produce for the energy segment, products of accredited quality and excellence in the preparation, execution and installation of the foundations of these works.

In 2018, Torcisão identified an opportunity to enter the thin wire segment (below 5.00 mm), with the acquisition of new and modern equipment, ensuring high productivity, combined with excellent quality, aiming to meet the needs and diverse demands of customers.

In 2019, we developed a new solution for Static Load Tests, patenting as a utility model the Helical Metal Piles as Reaction Piles in Static Load Tests, a totally disruptive solution that provides agility in the progress of the construction schedule in the foundation phase.
